Lions Australia

Brian Favero is a native of Young NSW ( Cherry Capital of Australia ) and was a Charter Member of Young Lions in June 1959.He served on Young Municipal Council from 1965 - 1977 and was Mayor from 1972.

Transferred to South Wagga Lions in 1977 and is a Past President of each of these two Clubs.

Has 100% attendance awards for 47 years. Is a Melvin Jones Fellow as well as the recipient of numerous Lions Club awards.

Made a member of the Order of Australia in the year 2000 for services to the community - particularly through Lions International.

Served District 201N4 for over thirty years. Been in the insurance Industry since 1984 and conducts his own business in partnership with one of his sons at Wagga Wagga.

Married to Nina in 1961 and have four adult children and five grand children.

Enjoys gardening, light classical and the movies !

Appointed to the MD201 Insurance Committee in September, 2004.

Brian does not profess to know all the answers but will research and respond within an acceptable time frame !
